Enveritas

Enveritas is an organization focused on providing sustainability assurance for the coffee industry. They work globally with smallholder coffee farms to evaluate their social, economic, and environmental practices, visiting thousands of farms across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. By utilizing geospatial analysis and satellite imagery, Enveritas offers accuracy and efficiency in verification, while ensuring no fees are charged to farmers. Coffee roasters, not farmers, pay for these assessments, promoting inclusivity in sustainability-based export markets. Enveritas provides actionable insights for supply chain actors and policy makers, helping coffee companies make responsible sourcing claims through an independent assessment process. Their work supports environmental protection, social responsibility, and more equitable economic practices in the coffee sector.
