PHP Software Engineer, Symfony

• Optimise the European cloud and hosting platform
• Develop backend PHP features
• Contribute to the microservices architecture
• Build and maintain internal APIs for information exchange across the European platform
• Participate in analysis and architecture activities
• Work on solutions connected to Linux hosting infrastructure
• Build automations for Managed WordPress and WooCommerce services
• Collaborate with the Platforms PHP development team
• Contribute to the platform rollout across the European team.blue group
• Share ideas and help shape technical solutions and product direction

• At least 3 years of experience as a PHP Developer
• Extensive working experience with the Symfony framework
• Eagerness to deepen knowledge of systems, infrastructure, and related technologies
• Interest in developing products and services on infrastructure platforms
• Ability to identify recurring issue patterns and create automated solutions
• Interest in working in an international European environment
• Ability to take ownership and work proactively
• Effective collaboration with colleagues
• Strong analytical mindset
• Clear and constructive communication
• Fluent in English
• Proof of eligibility to work in the country of application
• Must already have work authorization; relocation packages and visa sponsorship are not supported
• Experience with or willingness to learn PHP, Symfony, APIs, API Platform, OpenAPI, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible/AWX, Git, GitLab, Atlassian tools, Linux, operating systems, servers, storage, and infrastructure technologies
