Product Manager, Safety & Compliance

• Own the in-app brand safety review and workflow experience end to end
• Shorten the path from AI-flagged content to confident human decisions
• Define AI classification severity, categories, thresholds, review states, and false-positive handling
• Collaborate with data science on multimodal AI classification across audio, video, images, and text
• Ensure every safety flag is explainable and auditable
• Own compliance workflows for FTC disclosure equivalents, music licensing and rights clearance, legal drinking age rules, GDPR, and regional privacy requirements
• Work with Legal, Trust & Safety, and regional compliance stakeholders on regulatory changes
• Collaborate with engineering on API contracts, webhook payloads, and data models
• Work with go-to-market teams on positioning, packaging, and enablement
• Measure product outcomes, learn from results, and iterate

• 4+ years in product management or equivalent technical product ownership in B2B SaaS
• Ability to distinguish good UX from poor AI-generated UX and explain the reasoning
• Critical and independent thinking
• Ability to translate regulatory or licensing requirements into buildable workflows and document them clearly
• Understanding of AI classification pipelines, including inference, confidence thresholds, false positives and negatives, and human review
• Familiarity with API contracts, webhooks, and role-based access
• Experience working with distributed teams and asynchronous, flexible work
• Nice to have: experience with trust and safety, content moderation, risk scoring, or compliance tooling
• Nice to have: experience with multimodal AI, content classification, or ML evaluation workflows
• Nice to have: experience with FTC disclosure guidelines, music and content licensing, alcohol promotion, GDPR, or CCPA
• Nice to have: experience shipping customer-facing APIs, webhooks, or enterprise integrations
