Home Care Worker

• Provide home help services including general housekeeping and making beds
• Clean, mop and vacuum floors
• Wash, fold and iron laundry
• Prepare meals and complete grocery shopping
• Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering and dressing
• Assist clients with taking medications
• Support mobility and therapy goals
• Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
• Provide social and emotional support
• Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments
• Provide respite support for family carers
• Work independently and find solutions to everyday problems
• Ask the manager for help when needed

• At least 6 months of experience in a similar role
• Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support (Aged Care) or (Ageing & Disability)
• USI number required
• Must complete a Statutory Declaration before commencement
• Must complete a National Police check before commencement
• Must complete a Working Rights check before commencement
• Must complete a pre-employment functional assessment before commencement

• Guaranteed hours and shifts
• Paid kilometers at 99 cents per kilometer
