Senior Back-end Engineer – .NET, Finance

• Join an Agile team expanding the capabilities of industry-leading FinTech software
• Improve existing software and contribute to new development initiatives each quarter
• Build and maintain APIs and microservices using C# and .NET Core
• Develop in an Azure Cloud environment using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Azure API Gateway, SQL Server, Angular, and related technologies
• Write automated unit and integration tests
• Apply SOLID principles, dependency injection/IoC, and clean coding practices
• Optimize SQL queries and application performance using Entity Framework / EF Core
• Work with microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous or event-driven communication
• Independently deliver production-ready code
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with remote, distributed teams

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core, building APIs and microservices
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, dependency injection/IoC, and clean, maintainable code
• Proficiency with automated unit and integration testing
• Strong SQL and Entity Framework / EF Core experience, including query optimization and performance considerations
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous or event-driven communication
• Cloud development experience, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience with CI/CD and modern development practices
• Ability to independently deliver well-designed, testable, production-ready code and participate in code reviews
• Strong communication skills and experience working with remote, distributed teams
• Fluent English
• Must be based in Latin America (LATAM)
