Head of IT Infrastructure and IT Security

• Overall responsibility for the IT infrastructure and its continuous development
• Contributing to the Group-wide IT strategy
• Leading and developing a team of six employees across multiple locations, primarily working remotely
• Continuously adapting departmental structures to operational requirements
• Ensuring the smooth operation of internal network and IT telecommunications systems, including workplace management
• Ensuring the operation and continuous development of server and client systems in the data center (housing/hosting)
• Providing 1st- and 2nd-level support
• Further developing incident, problem, and change management processes
• Developing and implementing IT policies in accordance with ISO 27001 and established security standards
• Evaluating and introducing new technologies to optimize stability, efficiency, scalability, and security
• Managing external service providers

• Successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership experience in an IT environment, with a focus on IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud) and IT security
• Demonstrated expertise in change management and leading teams through change processes
• In-depth understanding of infrastructure security and cybersecurity practices
• Experience with backup and recovery as well as patch management
• Process-oriented mindset
• Extensive experience with IT service management frameworks, preferably ITIL
• Experience with ticketing systems, ideally Jira
• Ideally, excellent knowledge of modern workplace environments, particularly Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra, Intune)
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality
• Excellent German and English language skills
• Willingness to travel (approximately twice per month)
