Quality Engineer – Mid-Level

• Conduct thorough functional testing of software applications
• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, test data, and testing documentation using case management tools such as Testmo
• Execute test cases to verify functionality, usability, and reliability across platforms and devices
• Execute UI or API automated tests and evaluate results
• Test application readiness using cross-browser tools such as BrowserStack
• Define testing plans based on application releases, environments, and included features
• Identify, document, report, prioritize, and track software defects
• Perform root cause analysis of identified issues
• Conduct regression testing
• Operate autonomously in defining and executing testing plans
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, clients, and cross-functional teams
• Document and share testing best practices and lessons learned
• Improve testing processes, methodologies, and best practices
• Design, develop, and maintain automated mobile UI tests for iOS and Android using Maestro, Appium, Patrol, or Flutter integration tests
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Codemagic
• Run tests against emulators, simulators, and real device clouds such as BrowserStack
• Monitor pipeline results, triage failures, reduce flakiness, and provide actionable automation insights
• Use AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot for test design, test generation, automation scripting, and defect analysis
• Build, maintain, and share reusable AI skills and agent workflows

• At least 3 years of experience as Quality Engineer
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with functional testing techniques, including test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and regression testing
• Ability to think critically and analyze complex scenarios to design effective test cases
• Ability to plan and operate independently
• Meticulous attention to detail when verifying application behavior and test documentation
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, investigate defects, and propose solutions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
• Proven ability with testing tools, bug tracking systems, and test case management tools
• Familiarity with UI and API automated testing frameworks
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile UI automation for iOS and Android
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, including test reporting and failure analysis
• Practical experience using AI assistants and agents in QA work, including creating or customizing skills, prompts, or MCP-based workflows
• Judgment to validate AI-generated results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
