Electrical Design Engineer

• Design and oversee MEP systems for luxury villas and hotels, ensuring full compliance with local building codes and high-end industry standards
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other engineers to integrate systems seamlessly into the overall project
• Participate in spatial coordination with architectural and structural models, research efficient methodologies, equipment, and systems
• Resolve technical issues and challenges during the design phase
• Lead development of technical drawings and specifications using CAD and Revit, supported by BIM modelers
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing
• Oversee equipment selection in alignment with project requirements and sustainability goals
• Provide input during value engineering discussions
• Supervise design development and review and approve deliverables from third-party designers, consultants, and surveyors
• Stay updated on technologies, trends, and regulations related to power supply and distribution systems in luxury and hospitality sectors
• Work independently, coordinate with the team as needed, and deliver intermediate results weekly
• Report to the MEP design manager and collaborate with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, FF&E procurement, and client representatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Building Engineering, with a focus on electrical systems, power supply, and generation
• 5 to 10 years of engineering design experience working for a design consultancy or a general contractor
• Proven track record in high-end hospitality projects, including 5-star hotels and luxury private villas
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Professional level of English, both written and verbal
• Spanish proficiency (nice to have)
• Experience with international hotel chains (e.g., W, Four Seasons, AMAN) and their specific corporate design guidelines (nice to have)
