Senior Specialist, Site Contracts – UK Negotiations

• Prepare country contract templates
• Draft and send Site Agreements and site-related contracts to begin negotiations
• Negotiate contract language and budgets with assigned sites through finalization and execution
• Review study budgets and costs related to contract negotiation
• Perform quality checks of Site Agreements and related documents before signature
• Provide draft or signed contracts and budgets to regulatory teams for submissions when requested
• Liaise with the Worldwide Legal Department, Data Privacy team, study teams, Sponsors, sites and investigators
• Facilitate contract signatures by Worldwide when applicable
• Distribute fully executed Site Agreements and related documents to sites, eTMF, payment teams, Sponsors and internal SharePoint
• Negotiate Site Agreement amendments and budgets with sites
• Create termination letters and other related documents and send them to sites for signature
• Maintain tracking tools with live, real-time or regular updates of functional activities
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business administration, finance, science or related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the Clinical Research, Pharmaceutical, or CRO industry working with investigator/site contracts or related legal field
• Experience negotiating with UK sites is required
• Excellent verbal and written English and local language skills
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Proficiency in negotiating contract terms with clinical sites and vendors
• Ability to identify and address contract issues and disputes efficiently
• Good understanding of international and local regulatory requirements for clinical trials, including FDA, EMA and ICH-GCP
• Solid analytical skills to review and interpret contract terms and financial data
• Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
