Clinical Scientist, Clinical Science

• Administer assessments to participants in a clinical trial, or evaluate the quality of assessments performed by others and provide feedback regarding interview technique and scoring.
• Review scales administered by raters in a clinical trial to ensure standardized assessments and data reliability.
• Evaluate assessment quality and conduct live interactions with raters regarding assessment methodology and scoring technique.
• Evaluate case data and prepare for discussions with raters.
• Complete rater interactions and assigned tasks on schedule.
• Submit all documentation associated with assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientation, training and calibration activities.
• Conduct functional assessments of rater performance and assist with preparing and disseminating communications.
• Contact clinical trial participants remotely via proprietary app, Engage, to administer assessments and document notes and scores.

• Minimum of a Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric, Nursing or Social Work, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with schizophrenia and major depressive disorder populations.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience administering psychiatric assessments including the PANSS to these populations.
• Clinical Trials experience preferred; central nervous system (CNS) trials experience would be a plus.
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of personnel and clientele in a professional manner.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications; solid Excel/PowerPoint knowledge.
