Senior Reconciliations and Payments Analyst

• Monitor daily reconciliations by checking bank cash against client balances
• Flag, investigate, and resolve reconciliation breaks and mismatches end-to-end
• Coordinate with engineering, banks, and third-party payment providers on issues
• Maintain vendor, regulatory, month-end close, and recurring reporting
• Use Excel and data visualization tools to monitor reconciliation data
• Help automate manual reconciliation processes using AI and other tools
• Handle occasional manual money transfers
• Manage stakeholders across engineering, treasury, and external banking partners
• Cover a maternity leave period on a fixed-term basis

• Hands-on experience in reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury operations
• Experience as a reconciliation specialist, payment analyst, or accountant with reconciliation exposure
• Comfortable with Excel
• Experience with data visualization or BI tools such as Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Working understanding of payment schemes and money movement between banks and internal systems
• Diligent and detail-oriented when handling money movements
• Able to adapt in fast-paced, frequently changing environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with internal teams and external partners
• Able to start immediately or on very short notice
• Open to a fixed-term contract of approximately 5 months
• Experience at a neobank or fintech is nice to have
• Mathematical or quantitative background is nice to have
• Experience improving reconciliation or payments workflow automation is nice to have
• Basic SQL or data analysis skills are nice to have
