Deputy General Manager

• Support the General Manager in delivering an outstanding catering and hospitality experience
• Lead, motivate and develop the team, creating a positive and high-performing working environment
• Take a visible, hands-on approach, supporting the operation during busy service periods and events
• Plan, coordinate and deliver a variety of events from initial preparation through to delivery
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, service and customer experience
• Build strong relationships with the client, customers and key stakeholders
• Support team training, development and performance
• Support the commercial performance of the contract, identifying sales opportunities and managing costs
• Ensure standards of cleanliness, food safety, health and safety and operational compliance
• Respond to changing operational requirements and customer needs
• Support continuous improvement in the catering, hospitality and events offer

• Previous management or supervisory experience within catering, hospitality or a similar fast-paced environment
• Strong events management experience
• A genuine passion for food, service and the customer experience
• A visible, hands-on leadership style
• The ability to inspire, motivate and develop a team
• A commercial mindset and an eye for detail
• Confidence building strong relationships with clients, customers and colleagues
• The energy and flexibility to thrive in a varied hospitality environment
