Solutions Architect – Reference Architecture

• Assess and consolidate the current architectural landscape, identifying characteristics, patterns, capabilities, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Build, document, and evolve Reference Architectures
• Define reusable architectural standards, components, and building blocks
• Define integrations, assumptions, constraints, and architectural drivers
• Develop target architectures to guide technological evolution
• Design transition architectures between the current environment and the desired architecture
• Analyze interdependencies across applications, data, integration, security, infrastructure, and cloud
• Conduct technical studies to assess and compare architectural alternatives
• Produce technical analyses and recommendations to support the evolution of Reference Architectures
• Identify modernization patterns and strategies for addressing legacy technologies
• Create and maintain diagrams, blueprints, catalogs, decision records, and other architectural artifacts
• Support the continuous evolution of architectural references in response to technological changes and organizational needs
• Assess impacts resulting from technological obsolescence and propose architectural direction
• Consider the needs of business areas and the organization’s strategic drivers
• Promote the reuse of architectural capabilities and standards across different initiatives
• Contribute to consistency and alignment across architectural decisions
• Provide technical support to the teams involved in using and evolving the architectural references
