Back-End Developer – PHP, Integrations

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data integration routines between different systems
• Develop and consume REST APIs
• Work with FTP/SFTP integrations and direct database connectivity
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the application built with PHP 8.4
• Implement new features and performance improvements
• Fix bugs and contribute to system stability and reliability
• Develop unit tests and ensure code quality and readability
• Implement and monitor observability features such as logs, metrics, and tracing
• Work on data modeling and SQL query optimization for high-volume data environments
• Collaborate with the Projects team to understand business rules and transform them into technical solutions
• Collaborate with the technical team to define solutions and architectural improvements
• Occasionally participate in customer meetings for specific technical discussions related to integrations

• Solid experience with PHP 8+, with familiarity with features from the latest language versions
• Practical experience with system integrations
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with FTP/SFTP
• Strong SQL skills, including data modeling and query optimization
• Experience with unit testing
• Knowledge of application observability and monitoring, including logging and tracing
• Experience with applications handling high volumes of data and transactions
• Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical teams
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Availability to work as an independent contractor (PJ arrangement)
• Nice to have: experience integrating ERP systems, knowledge of queues and asynchronous processing, experience with high-concurrency data environments, knowledge of distributed systems architecture, and experience with business-critical, highly available applications, monitoring, and reliability
