Domain Consultant 2 – Cortex

• Serve as the Cortex portfolio expert for SOC Transformation
• Define technical solutions that secure customers’ key business imperatives
• Evangelize Security Intelligence and Automation, XDR, Attack Surface Management, SOAR, and Incident Response solutions
• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions
• Present as a technical expert to customers from practitioners through senior leadership
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for Cortex and support RFIs/RFPs
• Lead and support customer demonstrations
• Scope and lead Proof of Value projects for prospective customers and partners
• Drive technical validation and Proof of Value win rates
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation
• Architect solutions that strengthen and simplify customers’ security posture
• Document High-Level Designs and Key Use Cases
• Help customers build and develop services around Cortex solutions
• Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging security landscape changes
• Position Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services for implementation and value realization
• Initiate projects to improve team performance and help others adopt organizational policies
• Convey customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D

• 6+ years experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments
• IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre-sales experience highly desirable
• Experience working with customers
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
• Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions
• Scripting experience is a plus; Python preferred
• Proficient in English
• Field sales position; travel may be required to support in-person customer meetings
