Senior Software Engineer

• Develop, maintain, and enhance back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and enhance scalable, secure, and highly available RESTful APIs
• Participate in defining technical solutions, supporting architectural decisions and product evolution
• Develop and enhance microservices and distributed systems
• Analyze complex problems and propose solutions that consider quality, performance, security, and scalability
• Develop unit tests and contribute to quality strategies for distributed applications
• Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and support the team's technical development
• Work with messaging and event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka
• Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Support the containerization, orchestration, and cloud deployment of applications
• Contribute to observability and monitoring, supporting the identification and resolution of failures
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders
• Work in multidisciplinary teams using Scrum and Kanban
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of products, processes, and engineering practices

• Strong experience developing back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Experience building and enhancing scalable, secure, and highly available RESTful APIs
• Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling and performance optimization
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Proficiency in SOLID principles, Clean Code, design patterns, and conducting code reviews
• Experience with test-driven development, including unit testing and quality strategies for distributed applications
• Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architecture, with experience using Apache Kafka
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Experience with Git and modern collaborative development practices
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
• Knowledge of Consul for service discovery and configuration management
• Experience with AWS services, especially ECS, SQS, and S3
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring using Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams using Scrum and Kanban
• Active participation in defining technical solutions and making architectural decisions
• Collaboration with Product Managers, Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders
• Ability to analyze complex problems and propose scalable solutions
