Senior Android Developer

• Design and build new features for Finom’s Android application used by business owners across Europe
• Architect and implement multi-account cash flow management, banking transactions and payments, physical and virtual card issuance and control, and AI-powered accounting automation
• Build polished, responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose
• Own code quality, performance, stability, automated testing, and code reviews
• Collaborate with Backend, QA, Design, Product, Mobile, ML/AI, and other cross-functional teams
• Drive technical decisions, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile engineering best practices
• Shape architecture decisions and mentor engineers

• 5+ years of commercial Android development experience
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin; Java knowledge is a plus
• Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID, and Clean Architecture
• Experience with MVI, MVVM, and MVP presentation-layer patterns
• Experience with RxJava and Kotlin Coroutines / Flow
• Experience with Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin
• Experience with Retrofit
• Experience with Cicerone or Jetpack Navigation Component
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Practical experience with Firebase, including FCM, Analytics, and Crashlytics
• Experience with feature-module architecture in production
• Confidence with Git / GitLab and maintaining GitLab CI/CD
• Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences
• Pragmatic product-builder mentality and ability to work cross-functionally
• Fintech or financial-products background, mobile-security knowledge, performance optimization, profiling tools, published Google Play apps, GitHub profile, and AI/LLM tooling experience are nice to have
