Senior Developer – Core Banking

• Work on one of the squads within the Core Banking Tribe, developing, customizing, and enhancing features in the TOPAZ Core Banking platform while adhering to architecture, security, and performance standards
• Implement and maintain integrations between the core platform and satellite systems, including REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and batch files
• Analyze business rules and translate them into technical solutions, supporting refinement with the Product Owner and the Tribe’s Architecture team
• Conduct impact analyses on core modules before each release
• Support maintenance routines and incident resolution, including root-cause investigation and preventive actions
• Write and maintain automated tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure code quality
• Support version upgrades, data migration, and user acceptance testing with business teams
• Contribute to the Tribe’s technical standards, guilds, and chapters, promoting consistency across squads
• Document developed solutions, workflows, and configurations
• Serve as a technical reference for less experienced developers, sharing knowledge of the core platform

• Proven experience developing on the TOPAZ Core Banking platform, including customizations, configurations, routines, and integrations
• Solid experience developing mission-critical transactional systems
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, particularly Oracle and/or SQL Server, including procedures, functions, and query tuning
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating systems
• Experience with version control using Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, and working in a squad/tribe model
• Ability to conduct impact analyses, debug, and resolve complex production issues
• Autonomy, organization, and strong communication skills for fully remote work
• Experience in banks, financial institutions, fintechs, or banking technology providers
• Knowledge of credit products, including payroll-deductible loans, personal loans, and cards, as well as payment methods and systems, including PIX, SPB, and payment arrangements
• Experience with core banking implementation or migration projects
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS, containers, and observability
• Experience with messaging technologies, including Kafka, RabbitMQ, and MQ, as well as high-volume batch processing
• Familiarity with Central Bank regulations, compliance, and audit requirements
• A university degree in Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus
• Ownership mindset, analytical thinking, technical rigor, proactivity in identifying risks, collaboration across distributed teams, and delivery discipline in a remote environment
