Backend Developer – Spark, Scala

• Analyse and implement user stories and technical requirements
• Develop and maintain backend solutions using Apache Spark and Scala
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from development through testing and production validation
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with Agile squad members to deliver solutions within agreed timelines
• Provide support during User Acceptance Testing
• Support production validation and deployment activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives

• At least 3 years of professional experience developing with Apache Spark and Scala
• Solid experience with PL/SQL
• Experience working with Control-M
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Good understanding of software development best practices, testing and production support
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Apache Spark, Scala, PL/SQL, Control-M, Agile / Scrum
