Senior Java Development Analyst

• Work directly on the evolution, redevelopment, and reimplementation of the Diagnóstico V2 project, transforming business rules and legacy system functionality into a modern architecture
• Analyze, understand, and interpret business rules from complex legacy systems in order to propose up-to-date, sustainable technical solutions
• Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs and backend components in a structured, clean, and highly testable manner
• Apply software engineering best practices, systems architecture principles, and design patterns to modernize applications
• Ensure the quality, performance, security, and maintainability of code released to production
• Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on architecture decisions, technical requirements gathering, and delivery planning

• Currently pursuing or holding a higher-education degree in Information Technology, OR a completed degree in any field combined with a lato sensu postgraduate qualification (specialization, master’s, or doctoral degree) in IT, with a minimum workload of 360 hours
• Solid, proven experience as a Java Backend Developer/Engineer
• Strong command of Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with data persistence using JPA/Hibernate
• Experience building, integrating, and documenting RESTful APIs and microservices
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management
• Proven experience refactoring, analyzing, and rebuilding legacy systems
• Experience with messaging architectures (Apache Kafka or similar technologies)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with automated testing practices (unit and integration testing) and CI/CD pipelines / DevOps
