Software Architect

• Define and implement architecture standards for data and software pipelines, modeling, and integration, including new and legacy systems
• Develop and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, dbt, and Prefect
• Implement DevOps/DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, code reviews, and secrets management
• Apply governance and security controls, including IAM, policy tags, Dataplex, and metadata management
• Diagnose and resolve failures, performance issues, and technical debt
• Plan sprints and prioritize deliverables with the team and product owner
• Prototype and integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions into the data platform
• Provide technical mentorship to less experienced professionals

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Completed postgraduate degree in technology
• Advanced SQL and query optimization
• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of BigQuery
• Knowledge of dbt
• Git/GitHub with CI/CD pipelines
• Data modeling
• Prefect or another orchestration tool (preferred)
• Dataplex (preferred)
• GCP IAM (preferred)
• CDC and streaming, including Debezium and Kafka/Redpanda (preferred)
• Infisical or another secrets management tool (preferred)
