Junior Data Scientist

• Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources, ensuring the quality and integrity of the information
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to identify patterns and trends in customer behavior
• Create visualizations and reports to facilitate data interpretation and communicate results to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and propose data-driven solutions
• Stay up to date on new data analysis tools and techniques, contributing to the continuous improvement of the cooperative’s practices
• Transform data into valuable insights to support strategic decision-making and the continuous improvement of services for members

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering
• Knowledge of Python or R
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and unstructured data environments
• Analytical skills and critical thinking to solve complex problems
• Previous experience in data science projects is desirable, preferably in financial institutions or credit unions
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and advanced statistics is desirable
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams is desirable
