Mid-Level Full Stack Developer, Java/React

• Participate in platform architecture decisions and document the rationale behind them
• Build end-to-end features using Java on the backend and React on the frontend
• Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration layers
• Work with a microservices ecosystem integrated with legacy systems and monoliths
• Design and evolve persistence solutions across relational and non-relational databases
• Work with messaging systems and asynchronous processing
• Write automated tests and actively participate in code reviews
• Contribute to architecture discussions with technical arguments
• Investigate and resolve issues in production environments
• Use AI in development thoughtfully and rigorously review its output
• Share context and support junior team members

• Solid software development experience, with production deployments
• Java on the backend and React on the frontend, with autonomy across both areas
• Docker and containerization; familiarity with deployment on Azure
• Knowledge of relational databases, including modeling, querying, and optimization
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing with RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS, or Kafka
• Knowledge of non-relational databases, including a clear understanding of when to use them
• Daily use of Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent AI-assisted development tools, with sound judgment regarding their use
• Experience consuming and integrating third-party APIs
• Ability to independently unblock challenges and recognize when to ask for help
• Commitment to quality without compromising delivery speed
• Ability to collaborate within a small squad
• Curiosity about AI applied to products
• Nice to have: experience with healthcare projects involving sensitive data and Brazil’s LGPD; MVP-stage products; legacy products and monoliths; Azure and AWS
