Finance Systems Specialist – 12 months contract

• Own the inventory system roadmap, including enhancements, BRDs/PRDs, and end-to-end delivery from design through UAT to release
• Lead UAT cycles by defining test plans, executing QA, and signing off before deployment
• Troubleshoot system issues and build self-service diagnostic scripts
• Drive ERP integration and build automated data pipelines
• Plan and execute data migrations using scripting and AI-assisted tooling for validation and reconciliation
• Design and implement automation and AI-driven workflows across finance operations, including JE generation, bank reconciliation, data extraction, reporting, and exception handling
• Build and maintain self-service tools, dashboards, and scripts using Python, SQL, Excel/VBA, and low-code platforms
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools such as LLMs, copilots, and RPA
• Maintain system documentation, including BRDs, runbooks, and user guides
• Support ad-hoc finance transformation initiatives with scalable, repeatable solutions

• 3-5 years in FinTech, Financial Services, or fast-moving tech environments
• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) with multi-currency accounting experience
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Workday, NetSuite) including integrations or migrations
• Hands-on ability to build tools independently using Python, SQL, and/or VBA
• Comfortable with low-code platforms
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools (LLMs, copilots, RPA) to automate analysis, documentation, testing, or workflows
• Strong Excel skills for large-dataset reconciliation and data validation
• Self-starter comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments
• Passion for crypto and blockchain technology
