Systems Engineer

• Provide remote IT support through a shared inbound call queue
• Assist users across multiple clients with a broad range of technical issues
• Work across technologies and support needs to develop a well-rounded skill set
• Use a ticketing system to manage support queries
• Maintain documentation
• Comply with organizational rules and guidelines
• Adhere to strict change control procedures
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers and Senior Systems Engineers

• 2 years of IT experience in Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, or Systems Administration
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop, and mobile devices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience supporting the Microsoft 365 stack, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Azure AD
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Familiarity with Citrix XenApp is beneficial
• Experience supporting Sophos or similar endpoint threat management products
• Basic understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, DMZ, WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, and firewalls
• Financial industry experience and familiarity with Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet, or CapIQ are desirable
• Significant experience in an MSP environment, particularly with the ConnectWise suite, is desirable
• Exposure to or ability to support workloads in Azure or AWS is desirable
• Experience with Google Workspace, Box, Dropbox, Duo, Okta, or AirWatch is desirable
• Experience supporting Citrix XenApp or similar products is desirable
• Experience with cybersecurity solutions such as Carbon Black, Cylance, CrowdStrike, or Cyberhat is desirable
• Experience with Mimecast or mail security gateways such as IronPort or Proofpoint is desirable
• More than a basic understanding of storage and virtualization platforms such as Nimble, Pure Storage, NetApp, EMC, VMware, Hyper-V, or XenServer is desirable
