Senior Developer – Ruby on Rails

• Build and evolve business logic, models, migrations and REST/GraphQL APIs in an existing Rails application
• Implement event producers and consumers with Apache Kafka for asynchronous flows between services
• Design scalable APIs for the mobile app ecosystem and deploy on AWS infrastructure
• Build resilient integration layers with Salesforce and Sage ERP
• Write unit and integration tests with RSpec and deliver feature increments in Agile sprints
• Estimate story points, design technical tasks and safeguard system performance and API stability
• Collaborate with Product, QA and the client's internal team in an integrated working model

• Solid, recent Ruby on Rails experience at a senior level
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures
• Experience with enterprise applications or products, evolving existing applications
• Fluent English, able to work directly with US-based teams
• Testing with RSpec and Agile methodologies
