Project Manager

• Independently lead complex IT projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Ensure quality, costs, deadlines, performance, and high customer satisfaction
• Support Senior Project Managers and provide professional guidance and mentoring to Project Managers
• Plan, manage, and deliver projects in accordance with the V-Modell XT using traditional and agile methodologies
• Establish a structured project organization, including the project management plan and risk and opportunity management
• Take responsibility for the technical, organizational, regulatory, security-related, contractual, and financial aspects of projects
• Manage contract fulfillment, identify deviations, and manage change requests
• Monitor project costs and initiate corrective actions
• Define, implement, and continuously improve the project management plan
• Act as the central interface between customers, internal departments, and external service providers
• Organize and track deliverables
• Prepare, present, and communicate project and status reports
• Manage resource planning, including defining requirements, conducting interviews, and validating suitable project team members
• Support the further development of services with regard to delivery capability, delivery models, and customer-specific requirements
• Ensure the continuation of ongoing projects through stakeholder and customer management
• Manage complex projects in the public sector and public administration
• Coordinate cross-border projects
• Contribute expertise in Enterprise Architecture Management and use modern tools for project management

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
• At least ten years of demonstrable professional experience in managing complex IT projects
• Extensive experience working with the V-Modell XT project methodology
• Several years of practical experience leading traditional IT projects and working in traditional project management
• Excellent knowledge of agile project management methodologies, particularly Scrum
• Experience working on public-sector and public administration projects
• Demonstrable experience managing projects involving cross-border responsibilities
• Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Management
• Experience with Register Factory and/or IsyFact
• Proficiency with Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, and Git or GitLab
• Strong analytical skills, a high degree of ownership, and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident presence when interacting with customers and stakeholders
• Business-fluent German
• Fluent English
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
