QA Automation Engineer, Playwright, JavaScript

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications
• Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing where automation is not the right fit
• Design test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
• Improve test coverage and maintain scalable, reliable automation frameworks
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile team discussions
• Communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and quality concerns to relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and QA teams throughout the SDLC
• Increase automated test coverage and reduce manual testing effort
• Improve software quality through functional, regression, and API testing
• Enable faster and more reliable releases through CI/CD test automation
• Improve defect detection and resolution throughout the SDLC
• Increase adoption of scalable and maintainable QA automation practices
• Improve quality visibility across Agile development teams

• Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case design
• Experience developing automation scripts for web applications
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into clear test scenarios
• Strong JavaScript skills
• TypeScript is a plus
• Proficiency in Playwright is preferred
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
• Basic experience with API testing using Postman or Playwright API testing
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Experience with Git and code reviews
• Good written and spoken English
• Knowledge of performance or accessibility testing is a plus
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certification is a plus
• Awareness and application of IT security best practices aligned with ISO / SOC standards
