Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – Fintech

• Partner with Process Improvement, Product, DevOps, IT, Security, and other business functions to identify and understand workflow and process problems
• Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical approaches
• Map existing workflows, including systems, stakeholders, handoffs, dependencies, and bottlenecks
• Identify opportunities for automation and determine which problems are appropriate for technical intervention
• Design, prototype, build, and productionize automation solutions
• Integrate solutions with existing internal systems, APIs, infrastructure, and product workflows
• Communicate technical tradeoffs and proposed solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
• Work independently from discovery through implementation
• Participate in DevOps ceremonies while collaborating with Process Improvement and Product stakeholders
• Proactively identify opportunities and demonstrate ownership
• Establish patterns and best practices for a broader Forward Deployed Engineer capability

• Previous hands-on experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or in a genuinely equivalent forward-deployed role
• Strong software engineering background and ability to build production-quality solutions
• Proven experience implementing workflow/process automation solutions
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to discover and define problems
• Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in ambiguous environments without detailed requirements
• Experience taking solutions from discovery/prototype through production
• Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work across APIs, integrations, internal tools, and existing production systems
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ownership, autonomy, and leadership
