Software Engineer – AI Integrations

• Build and publish integrations for coding-agent environments including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Docker
• Design, build and release the Zyte CLI for PyPI and npm
• Build and maintain packages and tools for developer frameworks, agent SDKs and browser automation tools
• Build recurring data delivery into customers’ cloud and data platforms
• Assess automation and app-building platforms and prototype integrations or templates
• Estimate feasibility, effort, dependencies and upkeep for candidate integrations
• Add tracking for signups and usage attributable to each integration
• Write setup guides, examples and documentation for people and coding agents
• Manage submissions to partner directories, registries and marketplaces
• Maintain live integrations, including fixes, releases and versioning
• Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, SaaS and Platform teams
• Participate in code reviews, planning and squad routines

• Strong Python skills and solid TypeScript/Node.js
• Experience building SDKs, client libraries, CLIs, plugins or third-party integrations used by outside developers
• Hands-on use of coding agents and AI tooling, such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex
• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-calling interfaces
• Experience publishing and maintaining packages on PyPI and npm, including versioning, CI/CD, tests and releases
• Good working knowledge of REST APIs and authentication
• Ability to keep credentials secure in client and server setups
• Outcome-focused mindset using data to decide what to improve
• Clear writing in English
• Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage scoping in a new squad
• Experience in a distributed, remote-first team is a strong plus
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex or agent SDKs is a plus
• Experience with AWS or GCP data services, or Snowflake, is a plus
• Familiarity with web scraping, Scrapy or browser automation is a plus but not required
• Open-source maintenance or Developer Relations experience is a plus
