Frontend Engineer

• Build, maintain, and improve production frontend features using React and TypeScript
• Develop complex forms, configuration workflows, dashboards, and interactive application experiences
• Translate product and UI/UX requirements into reliable production interfaces
• Contribute to shared frontend components, libraries, tooling, and engineering patterns
• Write unit and integration tests alongside feature development
• Maintain and improve existing test suites
• Diagnose and resolve regressions, edge cases, and production issues
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Integrate frontend applications with production REST APIs
• Handle application state, validation, errors, loading states, and API responses
• Own features from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production verification
• Use Git, pull-request workflows, automated linting, testing, build, and CI/CD pipelines
• Use GenAI-assisted development tools while maintaining ownership of code quality
• Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and designers in a distributed environment
• Communicate implementation decisions, blockers, risks, and progress
• Document technical decisions and implementation details when appropriate

• 5+ years of professional frontend software development experience
• Significant hands-on experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript
• Demonstrated experience writing unit and integration tests as part of regular feature development
• Production experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
• Experience contributing to large, shared production codebases
• Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
• Experience using GenAI-assisted coding tools as part of the software development process
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of React hooks, component architecture, state management, and complex forms
• Strong JavaScript and modern web development fundamentals
• Experience working with established frontend architecture and shared component libraries
• Experience with automated linting, testing, build processes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to debug frontend application issues across UI, state, API, and application layers
• Strong written and verbal communication
• High degree of ownership and ability to work independently
• Comfortable collaborating asynchronously across a distributed team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to receive and provide constructive code-review feedback
• Experience with monorepos, design systems, Node.js, Python, broader full-stack development, GenAI-powered products, or complex cloud portals is preferred but not required
