Director of Construction – Europe

• Lead the team of project managers responsible for large-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects from financial close through construction, commissioning, and commercial operation (COD)
• Own the department’s project budgets, including budget development, cost control, monitoring, and forecasting
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams
• Collaborate with contractors, global equipment suppliers, owner’s engineers, project management and supervision firms, and business partners
• Monitor key project milestones and identify contractual risks and exposures
• Lead negotiation strategies to proactively resolve issues and protect the company’s interests
• Represent projects and regularly report their status and progress to senior management, partners, and other stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant field – required
• At least 10 years of experience managing renewable energy and/or infrastructure projects, including civil works, electrical infrastructure (including substations and grid connection), and the management of contractors, consultants, and engineering designers – required
• Proven experience managing international projects across multiple countries – required
• Experience managing budgets and the financial and commercial aspects of complex infrastructure projects – required
• Proven experience leading and developing teams of project managers – required
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously
• Strong technical orientation combined with strategic, big-picture thinking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and MS Project – required
• Full professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written – required
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project sites across Europe
• Experience working remotely with geographically distributed teams and/or collaborating with Israeli companies – an advantage
