Senior Software Engineer, Real-Time Data Platform

• Design, build, and tune real-time, high-throughput services that ingest, validate, and route telemetry events from NVIDIA products worldwide
• Make ingestion durable end to end through delivery guarantees, backpressure, persistent buffering, and graceful degradation
• Drive architecture for the data collection platform, including schema management and shared libraries for metrics, tracing, and configuration
• Lead design reviews and write clear technical documents
• Mentor other engineers
• Own production services, including participation in a shared on-call rotation and incident management

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years building backend services that run in production
• Deep expertise in modern Java (17+) and Spring Boot, including concurrency, the Java Memory Model, and performance profiling
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals, including microservices, event-driven architecture, delivery semantics, and failure handling
• Experience running large-scale services with Docker, Kubernetes, and message brokers, preferably Apache Kafka, on AWS or another major cloud
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and production observability
• Proficiency in agentic engineering (AI coding agents)
• Fluent English
• Production experience with reactive, non-blocking Java, including Project Reactor, Spring WebFlux, and Netty
• Background in telemetry, analytics, or high-volume data ingestion
• Experience with schema management for event data, including schema registries, validation, and compatible schema evolution
• Knowledge of security and privacy fundamentals, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, network and cloud security, and GDPR
