English-Spanish OPI/VRI Interpreter

• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between English- and Spanish-speaking individuals
• Provide consecutive interpretation across medical, social service, customer care, and financial settings
• Maintain professionalism, impartiality, confidentiality, and accuracy
• Handle blended Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) sessions
• Complete recruitment, technical verification, and client onboarding requirements before the assigned start date

• At least six months of verifiable professional experience providing remote English-Spanish OPI and/or VRI interpretation
• Advanced English fluency at a minimum C1 level, with strong spoken and written communication skills
• Native or native-level Spanish fluency
• Ability to deliver accurate, complete, impartial, and professional consecutive interpretation
• Strong knowledge of medical, financial, and social service terminology
• Understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA-related requirements
• Excellent attention to detail, active listening, emotional composure, and neutrality in sensitive situations
• Commitment to attendance, schedule adherence, quality standards, and established operating procedures
• Ability to work independently in a quiet, professional environment
• Reliable wired internet connection; Wi-Fi is not permitted
• Approved client-compatible USB headset; Bluetooth headsets, mono headsets, and built-in microphones are not permitted
