WordPress Developer

• Develop and maintain a flexible, modular design system and custom Gutenberg component library based on design specifications
• Build custom landing page builders, modular homepage capabilities, and structured editorial category templates
• Implement a headless Shopify “Shop the Story” experience for tagging product catalogs inside editorial articles
• Integrate membership application and contact forms with automated CRM lead routing and email marketing workflows using Attio and Klaviyo
• Ensure full responsiveness and proper Schema.org markup
• Optimize the site for web performance and analytics tracking

• 3+ years of experience with custom WordPress development using PHP 8.x
• Experience with custom post types, custom taxonomies, and structured publishing workflows for editors
• Deep expertise in developing modular custom Gutenberg blocks using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience building scalable design systems/component libraries
• Hands-on experience with headless Shopify catalog/cart implementations
• Experience with shoppable product tagging within articles and routing Shopify checkout through the WordPress front end
• Practical experience with REST APIs/GraphQL
• Experience handling data flows between web forms, CRMs such as Attio, and email platforms such as Klaviyo
• Understanding of Schema.org structured data, dynamic SEO tags, Core Web Vitals optimization, and GDPR/Cookie compliance
• Proficiency with Git, Composer, npm/webpack, CI/CD, and local development environments including Docker/DDEV/LocalWP
• Upper-Intermediate English
