Junior Software QA Engineer

• Execute manual test cases
• Document and track software defects
• Validate bug fixes
• Support regression testing efforts
• Assist with issue investigation in production environments
• Work embedded within a Scrum team
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to support ongoing releases and enhancements
• Ensure the reliability and quality of mission-critical software and systems through feature validation, regression testing, and defect identification
• Quickly learn new systems and technologies while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• 0–2 years of Quality Assurance experience, internship experience, or relevant academic/project experience working with web or mobile applications
• Experience designing, documenting, or executing manual test cases
• Familiarity with QA and defect tracking tools such as TestRail, Jira, or similar platforms is a plus
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate software defects and testing results
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, browser debugging tools, or mobile testing tools is a plus
• Exposure to testing web and mobile applications is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and business processes
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, and speak)
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks
• Experience with database validation and test data management
• Exposure to iOS and Android application testing
• Experience supporting production issue investigations
