Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant

• Support presales activities and the sales team
• Conduct Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O product demonstrations
• Analyze, implement, integrate, configure, and test D365 F&O solutions
• Evaluate customer business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality
• Document business requirements, required actions, and expected outcomes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with business objectives and understand current and future-state processes
• Facilitate customer decision-making
• Develop functional design documents that drive development
• Conduct user acceptance testing
• Train customer resources to use and maintain D365 F&O
• Liaise with product vendors on customer and service issues
• Ensure project technical aspects meet standards for functionality, operability, and documentation
• Coordinate resource changes across projects with project managers and team leaders
• Serve as a communication point between developers and clients
• Perform quality assurance and documentation
• Provide production support as required
• Collaborate with teams globally
• Stay current with the latest D365 F&O features and technologies

• Experience as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) with full project implementation experience
• Experience developing functional specifications for D365 F&O enhancements and integrations
• Experience with setup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing of D365 F&O solutions
• Experience using best-practices implementation methodology and/or Microsoft Sure Step methodology
• Excellent understanding of core D365 F&O modules
• Working knowledge of best practices in the relevant specialization/vertical
• Technical background or programming concept understanding is an added advantage
• Ability to create high-quality functional documentation
• Strong requirements-gathering skills
• Logical approach to problem solving and structured approach to introducing operational-system changes
• Excellent business communication, presentation, and demonstration skills
• Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Experience leading large, complex technology projects
• Understanding of business intelligence, reporting, and analytics
• Deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application servers
• Confidence providing user support and training
