Senior Business Analyst

• Design and implement data architecture and data models to optimize data processes and improve efficiency
• Build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines in Snowflake or another database or data warehouse
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
• Use Python to integrate, transform, and automate data workflows
• Analyze data to identify patterns and root causes
• Present findings with clear visualizations using Tableau, Sigma, or similar tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Optimize and streamline analytics processes to improve reporting capabilities
• Manage key stakeholder relationships, understand data needs, and deliver timely, actionable insights

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 4+ years in data analytics, data architecture, and process optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to break down ambiguous business questions and find patterns and root causes in large datasets
• Ability to support conclusions with data and visualization
• Expert SQL skills, including complex queries, query and database performance tuning, and large dataset management
• Experience designing scalable data models and platforms, including dimensional and star/snowflake schemas
• Sound pipeline management
• Strong working knowledge of Python for data integration, manipulation, and automation
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with Snowflake and ELT/orchestration tools, dbt, Airflow, Git, or CI/CD is preferred
• Data quality, observability, and governance practices are preferred
• Snowflake cost and performance tuning is preferred
• Hands-on use of LLMs and AI tools is preferred
