Java Developer

• Provide troubleshooting and application support for two Java-based portals and their web services.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and support service restoration.
• Support backend, front-end, and web-service components.
• Perform Tomcat restarts when required, following the client’s operational procedures.
• Collaborate with the client’s technical stakeholders and document issues and resolutions.
• Support two portals of a leading insurance company and their web services.
• UI support is not included in the scope for one portal.

• Solid professional experience in Java development.
• Experience developing and maintaining applications using JSP (JavaServer Pages).
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and web development technologies.
• Practical experience designing and developing applications using Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of SQL, including querying and working with relational databases.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across web applications and web services.
• Authorized to work in the EU.
• Proficient in Greek.
• Experience supporting production portals in an enterprise environment is a plus.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with incident-management and application-support processes is a plus.
