Senior Software Engineer, Corporate Banking

• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure services using Golang deployed on AWS
• Own delivery of clean, efficient, testable, and well-documented code aligned with technical strategy and business goals
• Participate in technical planning, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures
• Write and maintain automated unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests
• Provision, evolve, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Monitor application health and performance using logs, metrics, alerts, and tracing
• Identify and resolve issues in distributed systems
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to architectural and technical discussions
• Support incident response and operational excellence practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
• Deliver high-quality, impactful technical solutions within the team

• Must be based in Brazil
• Proficiency in English at B1 level or above (Intermediate)
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree or at least 3 years of work experience
• Strong experience with Golang or JVM based languages
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures in cloud environments
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working in production environments
• Solid experience designing and operating microservices architectures in cloud environments
• Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in distributed systems
• Strong testing expertise, including unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing
• Experience designing and documenting APIs using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, flow diagrams, and technical documentation
• Proficiency with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment pipelines using Terraform, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Codefresh, or similar
• Advanced usage of Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling, with familiarity in non-relational data strategies
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and observability concepts including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting
• Ability to contribute to technical decision-making related to scalability, reliability, performance, and system evolution
• Preferred: experience with critical or mission-critical systems
• Preferred: experience in the Financial Industry or with Payments / Authorization Systems
• Preferred: familiarity with observability tools and practices for distributed systems
• Preferred: AWS certifications
• Preferred: experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, GPT, Claude)
