Direct Response Copywriter

• Manage the full creative process from scripting through final creative
• Produce high-converting creatives for paid channels
• Drive measurable improvements in core advertising metrics across digital channels
• Script direct-response creatives
• Analyze Meta creative-performance data to improve creatives and performance
• Collaborate with the marketing team on creative concepts and ideas
• Conduct customer and competitor research
• Provide monthly and quarterly creative reports
• Determine next steps to further scale Meta Ads through better creative
• Produce at least 15 ad briefs per week
• Develop VSL briefings end-to-end, including angle, hook, script, and structure
• Design AI-driven concepts and hooks for paid video
• Partner with editors and performance marketers on testing
• Iterate strategy based on creative performance data
• Work directly with company founders in a fast-growing DTC pet-products business selling cat and dog water fountains, filters, and accessories through Shopify, Amazon, and Chewy

• Fully remote
• Fluent in English
• 3+ years of experience with performance creative for DTC brands or at a creative agency
• Strong analytical skills
• Hands-on experience interpreting performance data from Northbeam and Facebook Ads
• Experience using spreadsheets and reporting tools
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends if needed
• Excellent cultural fit aligned with the company values
• Willingness to work closely with the founders and play a major role in scaling the company
• Proven VSL copywriting experience on direct-response/performance brands
• Deep DTC experience, including naming brands and spend levels behind prior work
• Proven experience with short- and long-form Meta VSLs
• Current AI stack in production
• Ability to deliver volume and quality in the same week without being chased
• Deep fluency with DTC and modern consumer brands
