Staff Software Engineer – Smart Wallet, Account Abstraction

Sobre el puesto

• Own the technical strategy and architecture of Xsolla's smart wallet platform, including account model, signing, session management, and gas abstraction
• Design and evolve ERC-4337 user-operation lifecycle, EIP-7702 delegation, deterministic identity-based address derivation, session keys, and permission primitives
• Set paymaster and gas-sponsorship strategy, including metering, caps, abuse prevention, and degraded operation
• Own security of the dApp-facing signer surface, including provider behavior, origin-bound sessions, trust tiers, and transaction/signature confirmation flows
• Lead custody roadmap toward MPC-based custody and design recovery paths using passkeys, guardians, and social recovery
• Drive account architecture, SDK contracts, data modeling, and platform reliability decisions across wallet, marketplace, SDK, mobile, and security teams
• Identify and resolve systemic risks involving key management, phishing, reorgs, indexer staleness, bundlers, RPC dependencies, and contract upgrades
• Define engineering standards and review critical code, contracts, and designs
• Create leverage through documentation, tooling, and mentorship
• Collaborate with product, security, legal, and infrastructure teams on roadmap and regulatory needs
• Serve as escalation point for complex production wallet and account-abstraction issues
• Own the account model behind Xsolla ZK, its zkSync-based L2, and the wallet embedded in Xsolla App
• Support Web3 capabilities including minting, gifting, marketplace trading, reward airdrops, gas sponsorship, and dApp access

• Deep, hands-on understanding of ERC-4337, including EntryPoint v0.6–v0.8, UserOperation lifecycle, bundlers, paymasters, ERC-7562 validation rules, gas estimation, counterfactual deployment, and ERC-6492 signature validation
• Working knowledge of EIP-7702, EOA delegation, EntryPoint v0.8 interactions, and associated risks
• Experience building on or extending production smart account implementations such as Safe, Kernel, Biconomy, or Coinbase Smart Wallet
• Familiarity with modular account standards ERC-7579 and ERC-6900
• Experience designing session keys and delegated permissions, including TTLs, contract allowlists, origin binding, revocation, ERC-7710, and ERC-7715
• Practical command of EIP-712, ERC-1271, WebAuthn/passkeys with P-256, EIP-1193, EIP-6963, EIP-5792, and ERC-7677
• Experience designing or operating a production smart wallet or account abstraction system serving real users and real value
• Substantial engineering experience at a large crypto product or protocol organization, or comparable wallet, exchange, or account-abstraction infrastructure team
• Experience operating systems where bugs could cause lost funds, with concrete guardrails, reviews, and rollback paths
• Ability to read, review, and write Solidity account, paymaster, and module contracts
• Gas-aware design, upgradeability and migration patterns, and experience with external auditors
• Understanding of L2 execution differences, zkSync-family chains, transaction and fee models, finality, reorg behavior, RPC, and indexer semantics
• Strong Go engineering skills, including idiomatic code, concurrency patterns, and performance profiling
• Ability to design and own client-side TypeScript SDK surfaces
• Distributed systems experience and understanding of consistency, availability, failure modes, and on-chain/off-chain reconciliation
• PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and large-scale migrations
• Kubernetes deployment, operations, and debugging
