Production Manager – Translation

• Manage the production workflow of translated manuscripts from translation through final production readiness
• Oversee AI-assisted translation, editing and language refinement, proofreading coordination, formatting review, and final quality assurance before publication
• Review AI-generated translations for accuracy, fluency, grammar, consistency, readability, and tone
• Identify and resolve translation issues, formatting inconsistencies, and production errors
• Coordinate with proofreading, formatting, design, publishing, and other production teams
• Monitor project timelines and production queues to ensure deadlines are met
• Perform quality assurance checks throughout the production process
• Ensure consistency in terminology, style, formatting, and editorial standards across translated editions
• Use AI-powered translation, editing, and publishing tools to validate and refine outputs
• Track project progress, document revisions, and ensure deliverables comply with company standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement of production workflows and AI-assisted publishing processes

• Excellent command of English
• Professional proficiency in at least one of German, Portuguese, French, or Italian
• Experience in translation, localization, editorial production, publishing, or content quality assurance
• Strong understanding of grammar, style, and editorial best practices
• Experience using AI-powered writing, editing, or translation tools such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Claude, Gemini, or similar
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
