Operations Lead – New Specialties

• Own the launch of one new specialty from initial requirements through billing and collections go-live
• Learn specialty billing, payer, coding, authorization and benefits-check workflows
• Gather requirements and turn them into specifications for product, engineering and integrations
• Select and manage EHR, practice management and clearinghouse integrations through testing and go-live
• Write and maintain SOPs and playbooks
• Hire, lead and train specialty teams including RCM, authorization, benefits verification and care operations specialists
• Build dashboards and KPIs including clean claim rate, denial rate, days in A/R, authorization turnaround and patient response times
• Remove manual work through AI tools, automation and collaboration with engineers on AI agents
• Own revenue operations over time, including collections performance, payer mix and pricing input
• Review denials and authorization delays and improve the underlying processes

• 2 to 5 years of experience in operations, consulting, a startup or another fast-moving environment
• Strongly quantitative and technical; able to build models and dashboards and work comfortably with data
• Experience using automation tools such as Zapier, Make or n8n
• Experience setting up something new, such as a process, team, product or business line
• Ownership mindset and ability to unblock yourself
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for research, writing, analysis and automation
• Hands-on experience with Notion, Airtable or similar tools
• Comfortable with varied, hands-on work
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Based in Athens and able to work mostly US East Coast hours
• Must be registered as a freelancer in Greece or willing to register before the start date
• Nice to have: founder or early-stage startup experience
• Nice to have: experience in US healthcare, revenue cycle management, insurance or another regulated industry
• Nice to have: healthcare integrations such as HL7, FHIR, X12 or EHR partner programs
• Nice to have: experience hiring and managing distributed or offshore teams
• Nice to have: SQL or Python
• Nice to have: experience working with US companies or customers
