Controllership Project Manager

• Manage project schedules and timelines, identifying deviations early and managing dependencies
• Monitor project budgets, tracking costs and managing hours from external partners
• Prepare concise, visually clear status reports to anticipate risks and keep leadership and partner teams informed
• Map and diagnose accounting or financial processes to create improvement plans
• Identify opportunities for automation and documentation
• Apply artificial intelligence to accelerate analyses, increase productivity, and extract insights
• Engage with accounting close cycle concepts and financial regulations to ensure alignment with technical requirements
• Drive the complex technology and finance agenda, structuring timelines for tools such as SAP S/4HANA

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Engineering
• Previous experience at financial institutions or audit and consulting firms
• Formal experience using project management methodologies or formal certifications such as PMP, PMBOK, or PRINCE2
• Knowledge of financial institution regulations, including BACEN rules and COSIF guidelines
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate accounting and IFRS standards
• Practical familiarity with Artificial Intelligence focused on optimization and productivity
• Advanced/fluent English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and data visualization tools, including Excel, Google Sheets, and BI platforms
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong problem-identification and diagnostic skills
• Adaptable and able to manage different scenarios and challenges in a dynamic environment
• Results-driven, with the ability to prioritize high-impact initiatives
• Self-directed and collaborative, with the ability to work productively in a remote model
