Director of Product Experience – Design

• Set the experience vision for JumpCloud’s AI-powered unified IT management platform
• Decide design investment across interface, AI and headless experiences
• Partner as an equal with Product and Engineering leadership
• Define a multi-year platform experience vision across the admin console, end-user experience, and AI-assisted and agent-driven workflows
• Lead design of core end-to-end workflows with consistent, intuitive, self-service and reliable success and failure paths
• Design trust and security into permissions, policies, sign-in, recovery and alerts
• Own customer adoption and onboarding through in-product guidance, announcements and onboarding
• Establish experience measurement using NPS, product feedback, support and research
• Lead discovery, usability testing and post-launch measurement
• Set quality, craft and accessibility standards and govern the design system from Figma to code
• Organize team capacity and design operations for a distributed team
• Establish a practical, repeatable AI-enabled design practice
• Build and develop designers and managers across locations
• Hire effectively, foster shared ownership with Product and Engineering, and run critiques and skillshares

• 10+ years in product design
• 4+ years leading design managers and multi-disciplinary teams in B2B SaaS
• Track record of experience improvements with measurable results, such as adoption, task success, support volume or NPS
• Experience shaping AI-powered or agent-driven product experiences
• Experience designing complex, technical or security-critical products
• Identity, security, device management, IT or developer tools experience is a strong plus
• Hands-on building and prototyping in code with AI tools such as Claude or Cursor
• Advanced Figma fluency, including components, variables, tokens and design systems at scale
• Clear, confident communication with senior leaders
• Experience leading distributed teams across time zones is good to have
• Portfolio with two or three case studies showing work from problem to shipped outcome, including AI usage is good to have
• Must be located in and authorized to work in India
• Must speak and write English fluently
