Field Service Engineer

• Provide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on various Advanced Staining instruments
• Communicate with internal colleagues and external customers within established time guidelines
• Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner
• Ensure timely and appropriate application of published Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs)
• Support the sale of service contracts
• Assist sales representatives and service engineers with system configurations and upgrades
• Provide input to improve financial performance and generate service revenue
• Provide technical service and support in the field on Advanced Staining/CH/PI equipment
• Minimize customer downtime and generate revenue opportunities for Leica Biosystems

• Technical High School Diploma (Mechanic, Electric, Electronic...)
• At least 3 years of experience as a FSE in the Biomedical industry, dealing with Hospital equipments (diagnostic laboratories)
• Good English (both written and spoken)
• Good IT skills
• Integrity and understanding of compliance requirements
• Willingness to travel extensively (80% of travel activity with some trainings abroad)
• Experience in Anatomy Pathology is a plus
• Team player able to work autonomously
• Excellent organizational skills
