Senior Transactional Fraud Prevention Strategy Analyst

• Develop, implement, and manage transactional fraud prevention strategies, policies, procedures, and controls, with a focus on Pix, sub-acquiring, and credit
• Balance loss mitigation with the reduction of false positives, aligning strategies with business objectives and BACEN regulations
• Conduct predictive analyses and investigate fraud patterns using transactional and behavioral data
• Identify risks and propose innovative, effective, and sustainable solutions
• Continuously monitor fraud, emerging risks, indicators, trends, and the results of implemented rules
• Adjust prevention strategies and anti-fraud mechanisms as needed
• Develop and track area KPIs, transforming data into strategic insights
• Communicate fraud prevention processes, policies, and procedures to relevant departments
• Lead strategic fraud prevention projects from conception through implementation and results monitoring
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools
• Maintain strategic relationships with Product, Data, Credit, Compliance, Technology, and external partners
• Represent the department in internal and external forums, presenting results, insights, and the fraud prevention strategy
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
• Experience developing transactional fraud prevention strategies in the fintech, payments, acquiring, or sub-acquiring sectors
• Experience designing, implementing, and calibrating rules in anti-fraud engines
• Extensive knowledge of the Pix ecosystem, BACEN regulations, and fraud typologies
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex queries and CTEs
• Ability to independently analyze large volumes of data using Databricks or BI/Python tools
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and anomalies while balancing loss mitigation with the reduction of false positives
• Preferred: experience with in-person payment products and physical sub-acquiring, including POS and Tap on Phone
• Preferred: experience managing anti-fraud technology vendors or supporting the implementation of analytical solutions such as Data Hopper
• Preferred: practical experience using Generative AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or Databricks AI
