Fullstack Engineer

• Implement new user-facing features in the Linqia Platform using Vue.js, Vuex, and TypeScript
• Translate business needs and user goals into intuitive and engaging experiences
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to define UI/UX strategy and ensure a smooth user experience
• Architect and implement robust, scalable server-side applications using Python
• Write complex SQL queries with Trino or similar tools to gather and analyze data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain microservices supporting the platform
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot relational and non-relational databases
• Integrate RESTful APIs for smooth end-to-end functionality
• Write thoroughly tested features and participate in code reviews
• Develop comprehensive end-to-end integration tests
• Stay current with technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement

• BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical area of study (or equivalent practical experience)
• 2–4 years of experience as a software engineer/developer, with exposure to both front-end and back-end development
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript with TypeScript, Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, and Webpack/Vite
• Proficiency in Python, with a strong grasp of building and integrating APIs using FastAPI
• Skilled in SQL and database optimization techniques
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control
• Front-end or fullstack experience working in an Agile setting
• Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and performance optimization
• English language proficiency required
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases is a plus
• Postgraduate degree in CS or further education/experience in a technical field is nice to have
• Experience working in AWS or similar cloud infrastructure is nice to have
• Familiarity with Docker is nice to have
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar message queues and streaming platforms is nice to have
• Understanding of caching mechanisms and performance optimization techniques is nice to have
• Experience with performance testing and profiling tools is nice to have
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and LLM frameworks is nice to have
