Senior Accountant

• Prepare and post general ledger journals according to accounting policies and reporting requirements
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of general ledger balances
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Support timely month-end and year-end close activities
• Manage accruals, prepayments, and other period-end adjustments
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual ledger movements
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Operational Finance, and Shared Services teams
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders and provide documentation and analysis
• Execute ledger maintenance, account analysis, and financial data validation
• Monitor and resolve open balance sheet items
• Support statutory and management reporting
• Identify process improvements and enhance reporting efficiency
• Maintain a robust internal control environment and support standardization initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CA Inter preferred
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP
• Experience working within multinational organizations or Shared Services environments
• Experience with ERP financial systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience within service-based, travel, or events industries would be an advantage
• Hands-on experience with Indian accounting requirements, including GST, TDS, and FLA filings
• Experience using SAP S/4HANA, particularly FI/CO modules
